Did I mention I live in a ski town?

I do... and it's rad :) I moved here from Michigan. I was hesitant at first because I didn't think I would like it. It's in the middle of nowhere by my standards, but I LOVE my job and I love the lifestyle. For example, last weekend consisted of Soupskol (free soup tasting and voting) in Aspen, free locals comedy at the Wheeler Opera House. Saturday was some Broncos football (boo) with friends and a cheap beer tasting/guessing contest. Sunday, bluebird ski day at Snowmass with Evan. I'm a teacher, so I had MLK day off. I spent it at home, cooking, cleaning and watching Rescue Me episodes on Netflix while I watched the 8 inches of snow dump down.

How To Make A Good PIcture GREAT!

Finding good props is the first step, but editing can truly make your picture awesome. Some great apps include instagram, pixlromatic, photostudio HD and Be Funky. If you're using a computer, picnic is awesome. Pixlromatic is my personal new favorite.

Fall Photo Shoot

Today I had the day off work. It was fantastic. I can't remember the last time I had a day to do exactly what I want. The sun was out, the colors were BEAUTIFUL and I decided what better time to do a ML photo shoot. So, I mixed that in with a marathon of Parenthood of course. I couldn't bust out the Friday Night Lights because Evan might kill me.

Glenwood Springs Farmers Market

Today I went to the Glenwood Springs farmers market to sell my jewelry and hair accessories. It was a beautiful Colorado day and we had a blast.

Glenwood Springs farmers market has great food, and an awesome atmosphere. You can get brats, fish tacos, crepes, gyros, and more. Market fresh and organic food as well as vendors like me! Every week they put out a newsletter and each week is sponsored by a different local business. They have live music as well as a cooking demo every week. It's pretty amazing, I must say. This week, Mountain Love was mentioned in the article about the market in the Post Independent. Here are some pics from the market.
